Checked out the USS Razorback submarine that's next to the apartment on the Arkansas River. Pretty interesting. Saw action in WWII & Viet-nam. Sank several enemy ships & rescued a couple shot-down American pilots. Active until 2001. Talked to a couple guys who actually served time on the boat.
Atop the sub. Made with denser than normal wood meant to sink in case shot down. The deal at the bottom left is a ramp to load torpedoes into the boat.
Rear battery. Crews slept on bunks next to four stored torpedoes. Four more were stored in the launchers. Each launcher filled with water & then used air pressure to fire.

Crew bunks. Tight quarters.
Dining & entertainment room. Crews played cards, watched movies & read books.
Control room...and I thought the C-130 flight deck was complicated.
Forward Battery. Four torpedo launchers with 1 torpedo stored in each & 8 more stored on racks with a crew bunk atop each.
